Aussies for Orphans was formed by Steve and Sue Lewis and it didn’t take long before many of their close friends and family wanted to help. It’s with the help of these friends and family that they have been able to achieve so much, and have been able to help so many children. Sue and Steve believe that absolutely anyone can do what they have done and are more than happy to share their experience and knowledge about fundraising and aid work with those who would like to help.
At Aussies for Orphans we believe in the old saying “Give someone a fish and they will eat for a day, teach them how to fish and they’ll eat forever”.
No matter what your birth place, religion or culture may be, the one thing that we all have in common is the desire to live our lives with dignity and pride.
We believe that in helping organisations become self-sufficient they can then foster the same values within the children in their care.
Our aim is to provide children with a home environment, where they can gain access to health, education and life skills. This will enable them to move onto the next phase of their lives, confident that they can provide for themselves and others.
We have worked in conjunction with the following agencies.
