Today was a very interesting and emotional day. We visited the Killing Fields and some also went to the Genoside museum. The people of Cambodia have been through some terrible times and they are such beautiful and gentle people.
The afternoons activity was very positive and uplifting. We did a Khmer Culture course, where we learned about the language and the every day life of Khmer people. Chris was dressed as a monk and we were given information about a day in the life of a monk.
We were then given a plate full of Cambodian delicacies to taste. Mmmmmm…………..Not!!!!! Some of us tasted most things others were not so adventurous, as you can see
The course was very well put together and not a word of English was spoken, yet we all understood what was happening.
